Piersland House – Wedding DJ

Piersland House – Wedding DJ

A couple of weeks ago I was at Piersland House for the first time to DJ.  This was my first wedding at this lovely venue and what a party it turned into.  I had heard from a  few other wedding DJ’s on the circuit that the room could be difficult to get a party going due to it being split between 2 rooms and the bar being in the other room.  I can honestly say the room layout and no effect on the party, being an Ayrshire based couple who grew up with nights at the Legendary Metro this crowd loved they dance music.

Its been a very busy July so far with lots of firsts.  On Thursday I was at Glenberive House just outside Falkirk with a very “game” couple.  Nicole and David love their games with the tables all named after their favourite board games, there was casino tables brought in for a little flutter, they had crochet and giant dominos in the garden and I done my infamous Mr & Mrs Game.  Which resulted in a sing off between the bride and groom.

Loch Lomond

Last Sunday I was back at the bonny bonny banks of Loch Lomond, this time it was for my first visit to the Cruin.  Another excellent Lomond venue, it’s incredible the number of amazing venues there are around the loch.  Having met with Jamie and Jaclyn a couple of times before the big day I knew exactly what kind of party this couple wanted and I knew from the moment I turned up this was going to be a crazy one.  The venue was close to capacity with standing room only for the first dance.  You can see from the after movie at the bottom how much of a good time everyone had.

Lodge on the Loch

On Sunday I was on the Bonny Bonny banks of Loch Lomond, with instantly recognisable scenery its amazing to think you’re only 30mins from Glasgow.  Lodge on the Loch is a lovely hotel which looks out over the Loch and it’s recently renovated Restaurant looked amazing.  I’ll certainly be popping in with the family for a bite to eat, I hear the foods quite good too.

The staff are brilliant friendly and attentive, with special mention to David who looked after me and his crazy dance moves behind the bar gave me a smile.  Maybe next time ill get you into the dance off!!!

Sunday was all about Amy & Iain, a young couple of were clearly very much in love and made for one another.  As their guests looked on for their first dance i could see a few tears being shed as Iain & Amy looked absorbed in the moment.

Once the first dance was out of the way, Iain was ready to party.  With help from his close friend Davie, they jumped behind the decks and picked out some epic bangers, the dance floor was full and everyone was ready to go.  It was an energetic fun filled night with surprise dance off with Iain’s little sister Ruby…….. and another David.  Not sure where all the Davids came from!!!
